Immerse yourself in a truly unforgettable stargazing adventure, perfect for anyone looking to explore the wonders of the night sky. The Flagstaff Stargazing Experience offers a comprehensive introduction to astronomy, astrophotography, and constellation mythology by combining the beauty of the cosmos with state-of-the-art technology and personalized attention. With our laser-guided constellation tour, you'll discover the stories and science behind the stars, while our deep space astrophotography allows you to observe celestial objects like galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters in stunning detail. Using several large aperture, computerized telescopes, we bring these incredible sights right to your eyes. To ensure a personalized experience, we maintain a small group size, with no more than five people sharing a telescope, giving you plenty of time to explore the night sky at your own pace. As a special memento, we’ll also capture breathtaking photos of you under the stars and share all deep-space images taken during the tour. We offer this unique stargazing experience year-round. In the colder months, we provide heaters, extra blankets, and hot drinks (tea and hot chocolate) to keep you cozy throughout the evening. In the event of snow in Flagstaff, we may relocate the experience to an alternative site at a lower elevation to ensure a clear, accessible viewing area. What to Expect: Meet at our viewing location: Easily accessible and perfectly situated to offer dark skies for optimal stargazing. Laser-guided constellation tour: Learn the mythology and science behind visible constellations as we point them out in the night sky. Deep space imaging: Using smart telescopes, we’ll capture live images of distant celestial objects, providing an immersive look at the universe. Telescope observation: View planets, the moon, and notable deep-sky objects like Messier objects through our telescopes. Astroportraits of your group: We'll photograph you beneath the stars, creating a beautiful keepsake to remember the experience. Comfort amenities: Chairs, hot drinks, blankets, and—during winter—heaters will be provided to keep you warm and comfortable.
