Experience a custom stargazing adventure with Flagstaff Stargazing Adventures' Private Starparty Service. Whether it's a family gathering, special event, wedding reception, or corporate retreat, we bring the starry wonders to you with high-quality, large-aperture telescopes and professional guides to operate them. Choose from our dark sky sites or let us recommend the best spot at your location for an unforgettable evening under the stars. With our Private Starparty Service, we use the largest aperture and highest quality telescopes that we operate to guarantee the best views possible. Depending on the size of your group, we can offer a number of services custom-tailored to make your event memorable, but what is included in every Private Starparty with Flagstaff Stargazing Adventures is: -Our largest telescope, a 12" computerized Dobsonian telescope to see faraway galaxies, nebula, and star clusters -Our highest-resolution smart telescope for live deep-space imaging, capturing full-color images for display on a tablet -Photos under the stars for your group to memorialize your uniquely tailored experience -Hot drinks and cups for up to 10 (tea and hot chocolate only, no requests) -Chairs and blankets for up to 10 -Astronomy guide to operate the telescope and keep the group entertained with constellation mythology, discussions to help make sense of astronomical concepts, point out and discuss deep space objects Additional ways to customize: -Adding telescopes- we have up to* two (2) additional 8" computerized telescopes, an additional smart telescope, and three (3) 6" Dobsonian telescopes. -Projector and projector screen to display deep-space imaging -Additional guides *Please choose a start time between 8:00 and 9:00 PM* **A 3% non-refundable credit card transaction fee will be added for private experiences**
Cancellation Policy
​Cancellation and Refund Policy ​ At Flagstaff Stargazing Adventures, we understand that weather conditions can be unpredictable and may result in tour cancellations, which are disappointing and inconvenient for everyone involved. In the event that we need to cancel a tour due to unfavorable, unsafe, or uncomfortable weather conditions, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour for a mutually convenient time. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a full refund minus any non-refundable deposits-including booking, and credit card processing fee. ​ Group Tours If you need to cancel a tour for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 24 HOURS prior to the scheduled tour will be refunded in full, minus a 3% booking and credit card processing fee. Cancellations made less than 24 HOURS prior to the scheduled tour will not be refunded. ​ Private Tours If you need to cancel a tour for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 7 DAYS prior to your scheduled tour will be refunded in full, minus a 5% booking and credit card processing fee. Cancellations made less than 7 DAYS prior to the scheduled tour will not be refunded. Due to the time taken for planning personalized programs, 50% of the total private tours deposit is non-refundable for any reason, including weather cancellations. In the event of a weather cancellation, 100% of your deposit will be applied to a future experience with us. ​ To request a cancellation or a refund, please contact our customer service team at info@flagstaffstargazing.com.
